Once upon a time, there were, and there were not. In very old times, there were three sisters whose mother and father had passed away. They said, "The dead are dead, life goes on," and they divided the household chores among themselves. According to the division of labor, the eldest sister would work and earn money, the middle sister would handle the housework, and the youngest would go to the market for shopping.
One day, the eldest sister told her younger sibling: "Go to the market and buy ten paras' worth of cheese, ten paras' worth of minced meat, and ten paras' worth of olives."
The girl replied, "Very well," and left the house.
On the road, she came across a vendor selling clay pots. The little girl was taken with one of the pots. She thought to herself: "What if I didn't buy olives and bought a clay pot instead?"
She asked the vendor for the price of the pot. The vendor said, "Fifteen paras."
The girl asked, "I only have ten paras, will you not give it to me?"
The vendor agreed, and the girl bought the pot and went home. When she arrived home, her sister was very angry at the situation. The little girl went out to the front of the house, sat on a stone nearby, and began to cry.
An old woman passing by saw this. She asked the girl why she was crying. The girl explained what had happened. The old woman took pity on the girl, asked her to sell the pot to her, and told her to use the money from the pot to buy the olives. The girl sold the pot to the old woman and bought the olives with the money.
The old woman came home and said, "I'll make some delicious stuffed vegetables in my new pot and enjoy them."
She made the dish, placed the pot in the wire cupboard, and went out for a walk. In the evening, the old woman came home. Feeling hungry, she opened the door of the wire cupboard and saw that the pot was completely empty.
"Good heavens! There's something going on here," she exclaimed, surprised by the situation.
The next day, she made *helva* (a sweet confection) in the same pot, placed it back in the wire cupboard, and went outside. When she returned home, she saw that the pot in the cupboard was empty again. The angry old woman took the empty pot, carried it away, and sold it.
It turned out that the pot was magical; whatever was placed inside it, it would carry away and give to its very first owner, the little girl. The little girl had no idea about this. She was happy for all the food that came to her and continued her life with her sisters.
One day, the Sultan's three sons were walking on the road when they saw a pot vendor. The youngest said to the eldest: "Please, brother, let's buy that clay pot."
His older brother scolded him, saying: "What will you do with it? We have golden pots; a clay pot would never suit you. You are the Sultan's son!"
When the youngest insisted heavily, the eldest couldn't refuse his brother. He bought the clay pot from the vendor. To cool down in the hot weather, the Sultan's sons went to the lake. They put their clothes, money, and golden watches inside the pot and went into the water. While they were swimming, the pot set off again and took its contents to the little girl.
It was, in fact, **that** magical pot. When the Sultan's sons emerged from the water, they saw that the pot was still there, but it was completely empty inside. They were very surprised by this situation. They looked at each other in astonishment.
The youngest one suggested: "Brother, let me get inside this pot and see what it does." And he stepped inside the pot.
A moment later, the pot began to move. His older brothers were surprised and walked after the pot. The pot carried the boys to the little girl's house. They knocked on the door.
A voice from inside said: "Who is it?"
The pot replied: "I brought you the Sultan's son."
The youngest of the three sisters and the Sultan's youngest son liked each other the moment they saw each other. The older brothers, who had followed after their sibling, also took a liking to the two sisters in the house. The little girl explained everything that had happened right there. The girl's older sisters also liked the Sultan's sons. They decided to get married.
Thus, the Sultan's sons and the three sisters got married. They lived happily ever after, and may we climb onto the marriage couch. May such a pot come to all single people...
