Read the Spoon Holder Story

"Once upon a time… Once upon a time, there lived a very poor spoonmaker in a village. Every day, he would go to the forest, collect wood, make spoons from it, and sell the spoons he made to make a living.
One day, the spoonmaker went to the forest to collect wood. While searching for suitable wood to make a spoon, he saw a fox lying on the ground. He thought the fox would run away in fear when he saw him, but the fox didn't even move. The poor fox turned out to be lame. The spoonmaker wondered what this strange creature was eating and drinking.
He hid behind a tree and began to watch the goings-on. Then, a lion came with meat in its mouth and left it in front of the fox. The fox ate what the lion had brought and went to sleep. This pleased the spoonmaker greatly. He came up with a plan. He decided to be like the fox. He sat in the middle of the village and waited for someone to help him, but no one paid him any attention.
One day, an old man was walking through the village and came across the spoonmaker. He asked him why he was sitting idle in the middle of the village. The spoonmaker told the old man what he had seen in the forest. In response, the old man offered the following advice:

"Instead of sitting idly by, taking the fox as an example, wouldn't it be better if you took the lion as an example and helped both yourself and others?"

With these words, the spoonmaker came to his senses and returned to his old job. But this time, he began earning his own living and helping those around him. Three apples fell from the sky: one on the lion's head, one on the head of the old man who guided the spoonmaker, and one on the head of those who helped, inspired, and enlightened those around him..."
