The Little Red Riding Squirrel Tale
The Little Red Riding Squirrel is an ordinary little squirrel who wears a red cape and, despite being brown, appears red thanks to his red cape.
His place of residence was a remote area outside the forest, and one day, he decided to venture deeper into the forest because he was so curious. As he wandered through the forest, he encountered a variety of different species and noticed a squirrel like himself, which he followed.
When he arrived at the squirrels' home, he said, "Hello." The squirrels were surprised to see him... Because while they were brown, he appeared red. Seeing a red squirrel for the first time, the brown squirrels chatted among themselves, asking, "Why?" Why are all of us squirrels brown, but he is red...
How could this be possible?
The squirrels were confused, their words knotted together.
The oldest of the old squirrels approached, sniffed him, and said:
"You smell like us, you look like us, but we don't understand:
"Why are you red?"
Up until then, the squirrel, who had used his red cloak to protect himself from the cold, was amused when he realized it made him look red, and he thought of a lie:
"Because I'm descended from red squirrels, and there are very few of us in the world, we... I mean, I'm a very rare and wonderful thing."
The old squirrel added, surprised, "How could that be?" He couldn't understand...
So, he was a rare person, and he ran to the trees to tell the others.
He told all the squirrels he found, believing, "It turns out he's not like us. It turns out there are red squirrels." However, he never knew that the red-capped squirrel had told everyone the lie he'd told. He was a bit naive, and he'd readily believe anything. Because squirrels were like that; they lived innocently and knew no lies.
When the brown squirrels learned this trait, they felt a mixture of fear and apprehension for the red-capped squirrel. They began to respect him greatly, or rather, they believed what they thought.
They couldn't understand how a red squirrel could exist. Thinking he might have seen something like this before, they went to the king of the forest, the Elephant, and although they explained the situation, no one had ever seen the red squirrel before.
So the brown squirrels, feeling lucky, believed they could be very lucky creatures upon seeing a red squirrel for the first time, and without hesitation, they immediately did as Little Red Riding Hood commanded.
The red squirrel's life was very joyful, and they were equally happy. One day, while the brown squirrels were bringing him food, a strong wind blew his red hood off.
The squirrel known as Little Red Riding Hood suddenly lost his red hood in the strong wind, revealing his true colors.
When the other squirrels watched him for minutes in astonishment and amazement, they became very, very, very angry.
How dare you deceive us? What you did was stupid and ignorant. We loved to believe you, but you lied to us, right in front of us!
They ostracized him, saying, "We won't talk to you, squirrel. Get out of here."
The squirrel, saddened by the loss of his possessions and the lack of shelter in the depths of the forest, left. All the forest's inhabitants stared angrily after him.
Whether they had attained their miracles or not, the red hood rose up like a kite, right in the wind.
