🐢 The Turtle and the Fox
Once upon a time, there was a Turtle and a Fox. They were friends. The Fox was very, very tricky and clever, but the Turtle was very kind and innocent.
The Fox wanted to take advantage of the kind-hearted Turtle, so the Fox said to the Turtle: "Let's grow crops together."
The Fox's plan was to make the Turtle do all the farm work. The Fox planned not to leave the shade at all. To do this, he leaned his back against a big rock. Then he said to the Turtle:
"This rock I am leaning on is about to fall. If I don't hold it with my back, it will crash down on our heads! You work the field, and I will hold the rock."
The kind-hearted little Turtle believed what the Fox said. The Turtle told the Fox: "Okay, brother Fox, you hold the rock, and I will work the fields."
The crops were grown. It was time to share them. The cunning Fox wanted to take all the crops for himself this time, too. He said to the Turtle: "This is not a fair way, brother. Let's see which one of us can get down this rock faster. The crops will belong to the winner."
The Turtle agreed without saying anything. He pulled his head into his shell and rolled himself down the rock! While the Fox was busy preparing to run, the Turtle had already rolled down the rock.
The Fox saw that this would not work, so he threw out another idea. He said to the Turtle: "The crops will belong to the one whose age is older."

The Turtle accepted this offer again without saying anything. The Fox confidently told the Turtle his age. When the Fox said his age, the Turtle started to cry.
The Fox asked: "What is wrong, Turtle? Why are you crying?"
The Turtle said: "Oh, my brother Fox, my smallest son was your age!"
The Fox felt pity for the Turtle. He understood that no matter what he did, he could not trick the Turtle out of what was rightfully his. The Fox gave the Turtle his fair share. After that day, the Fox never set a trap for the Turtle again. He realized that there is no power stronger than the power of goodness.
Three apples fell from the sky: one for those who always stand up for the truth, one for those who speak honestly, and one for those who show good behavior. 🍎🍎🍎
