The Frog Prince 🐸

Once upon a time, in a faraway land, there lived a beautiful princess with her father, the King. The princess’s favorite toy was a golden ball that sparkled like the sun.

One day, while she was playing with her ball near a cool well in the palace garden, the ball slipped from her hand and fell into the deep water. The princess began to cry because the well was very deep, and she couldn't get her ball back.

Suddenly, an ugly frog popped its head out of the water and asked: "Why are you crying, beautiful princess?" The princess replied: "My golden ball fell into the well, and I can never get it out."

The frog made an offer: "If you make me your companion, let me eat at your table, and live in your palace, I will bring your ball back to you."

The princess accepted the offer just to get her ball back, but she thought to herself, "How could I ever be friends with an ugly frog?" The frog dived into the water, retrieved the golden ball, and gave it to the princess. As soon as she took the ball, she ran back to the palace without even looking back.

The next day, while they were eating dinner, there was a knock at the door. It was the frog! When the King learned about the promise, he said to his daughter: "If you made a promise, you must keep it."

Reluctantly, the princess allowed the frog to sit at the table and shared her meal with him. When evening came, the frog followed her to her room. Although the princess was very sad, she remembered her father's words. At that moment, she felt sorry for the frog and gave him a gentle kiss.

Suddenly, magic happened! The ugly frog transformed into a very handsome prince. It turned out that an evil witch had enchanted him, and the spell could only be broken by the love of a princess. The prince and the princess got married soon after and lived happily ever after.

Lesson: Always keep your promises, and never judge others by their appearance.
